Carmen Gilmore, President
Carmen Gilmore joined the Greater Santa Clarita Valley Optimist Club in 2011 and then joined the Canyon Country Optimist Club in 2021.  She has held the position of President, and served Lt. Governor for zone 3 in 2020.  She continues to be the PSWD District Essay Chairperson.  Past positions include, serving on the PSWD District Quarterly Planning Committee from 2019-2022.  Carmen is a retired teacher/administrator whose entire life has been devoted to our youth.  She continues to serve the youth of Santa Clarita as President of the Canyon Country Optimist Club.

Jim Oliver, Past President
50 year member of OI including Van Nuys Airport Club since 1970 and Canyon Country Club since 2018.  He has held many positions at the club and international level of Optimists serving presently as the President of Canyon Country Optimist Club & Optimist International Chief of Staff (2020/21) as well as past positions as District Convention Committee Chairman, International Marketing Chair, International Club Building Chair, International Board of Directors, International VP, PSWD Governor, PSWD Secretary.
